Gehidy Martinez OTR/L Founder and President
Gehidy Martinez OTR/L is a practicing occupational therapist who has worked with special needs children since 1996, earning the respect and admiration from thousands of families.
With an endless drive and unyielding passion, Gehidy has received a bachelor’s degree from FIU and a certification with the National Board of Occupational Therapy.
She supervises and closely monitors the service provided to each patient of GL and Associates.

Anna Martinez
Anna is our front desk and assistant manager. She takes care of your intake paperwork and coordinates the therapy process, including obtaining authorizations and following up with the MD offices. Anna does everything needed to ensure that the process is done efficiently and accurately. She is happy to help with questions regarding insurance verification, authorizations, scheduling, and anything in between. Anna loves kids and enjoys seeing and playing with our patients every day. In her spare time, Anna likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Cecilia DelaTorriente PT
Genesis Felizola is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience working directly with patients with speech, language, fluency, swallowing/feeding disorders, voice and cognitive disorders. She is certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She received her Bachelors in Speech Language Pathology from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York and her Masters from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is a published researcher, her research is on Hispanic Families of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her personal experience with her younger autistic brother has inspired her to work with this population. She is devoted to teaching children with disabilities and their families ways to promote language in their every day lives.

Tatiane Lima COTA
Tatiane is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She is currently pursuing her master's degree
Her passion lies in utilizing a holistic and client-centered approach while working with children with autism, sensory processing disorders, movement-based difficulties, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges.
Tatiane has completed multiple continuing education courses in sensory processing, DIR/Floortime, social/behavior techniques.
She is a clinical instructor for the local OTA program and enjoys coaching her students.

Suanny Osorio COTA
Suanny has an Associates of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences from Keiser University.
She is a mother, enjoys traveling, shopping, reading, volunteering, going to the beach and spending quality time with family.

Maria Lozano PTA
Maria Lozano, received her Physical Therapist Assistant, Associate Degree in Science from Miami Dade College, in 2019. She has experience in clinical setting working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus, and Congenital Malformations. Providing treatment in areas of developmental delays and motor function as: Motor Planning/Praxis, Gross Motor Skills, Bilateral Coordination, Sensory and Vestibular Issues, Gait and Transfer Training, and Muscular Strength and Stretching. She has worked with adults with neurological diseases: Parkinson, Alzheimer, Multiple Sclerosis, Peripheral Neuropathy, Cerebrovascular Accidents. Also, in orthopedic area: Joint Replacements and other conditions and injuries of the musculoskeletal system.

Ileana is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She graduated with her Associates degree from Keiser University in 2017.
She has always enjoyed working with children and her passion lies in helping children with varying abilities reach their full potential and become as independent as possible, while engaging in activities that they enjoy doing.
She has worked in a classroom setting as well as a clinical setting with children of varying abilities including ASD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral palsy, and more.
She plans to further her education by pursuing her Masters in Occupational Therapy in the near future.

Mercedes carallol has been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for about 5 years now. She graduated from Praxis institute.
Mercedes worked in geriatrics and pediatrics during her clinicals but specialized in pediatrics as working with kids is her passion.
Mercedes is thrilled with the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the children she works with.
